Since agnosticism is a position of knowledge, it's possible to be both an agnostic and a believer/non-believer. I'm an agnostic and an atheist.

I was an agnostic that was leaning more toward atheism. I ended up becoming an atheist.

Why do you prefer to "pigeon hollow" human beings's theory? the selection of critiques and reports are as great via fact the style of those that could answer your question. Is your point of comprehension, so "black and white", that it should be one or the different? Open your recommendations. settle for that there are "gray" components, wherein persons are susceptible to their point of theory, for what's soft for them. Your suggestion that Agnosticism bargains (be conscious - I spelled that with an "s" - thank you) with "loss of know-how" is entirely off base. the version between Atheism and Agnosticism is elementary - Atheists declare there is no data that a god exists - Agnostics settle for that good judgment, yet in addition properly known that there is no data a god does no longer exist. the two secular fashions have a tendency to agree that church dogma is a few thing they do no longer prefer to step in - via fact it smells like... a lyin' piece of poop! So, while you're protecting your breath (no pun meant) - i does no longer anticipate changing any Agnostics returned to faith. basically my $0.02...

Agnosticism is not some magical, middle-of-the-road view to religion. If you're agnostic, you believe you cannot prove God exists or doesn't exists. I believe you are using the word incorrectly.

hmmm.... well.... I think there's something out there... that would make me closer to theist... but I think all religions are wrong... so that would make me more atheist... so.... somewhere in the middle.... However, I am militant. I strongly believe that I don't know and neither do you... and that goes for everybody.
