what do you do if you ask someone out in lust and not love because someone used to like you?
but you end up feeling crappy because the person who liked you changed the way they felt about you over time the farther and farther they get, knowing that a small part of you liked them.
did i really like her, or did i just like her because she gave me a lot of signals of her being interested but end up just being a fling?

It's not right to like some one out of lust and not love whereas they might love u. I think u did the wrong thing by asking her out of lust. She probably didn't like the fact that u don't like her personality so i think that's why she got over u.

If you did not know her well, then you probably just liked the attention that she showed you.

you probably got used to her liking you and after she stopped, you realized that you'd taken her feeling for you for granted and it felt bad.
