That's something you should ask your doctor, were not genetic specialists.

Sometimes, the cause of death is not all about genetics. Sometimes people die because of their lifestyles. As for your Grandpa, his heart attack could of been caused from lots of stress, drama and/or eating bad. Your grandma had diabetes so maybe she wasnt eating properly and/or healthy enough. Certain people have different lifestyles and living longer is not given by genetics. But that doesn't necessarily mean you or your parents generation will be like that, just live life happily and no stress and eat properly.

Theres never an answer for death.. i know you say 62 is young.. but there are people that die even younger way before they even have a first child yet alone grandchildren. So Thank God that they lived to see they offspring.
All i can advise is learn from the ones that have gone.. learn from people that have gone before you.. as you only live once, and you never know when and how death is knocking on anyones door. Thats one appointment that no one can escape. When its your time its your time.. jsut make sure you're at peace with your maker.

Just chance. Like my grandpa died when he was in his late 50s but my other 3 grandparents are still alive. And thats actually not too young(they could have died even earlier). But then again they could have lived to be 100 yet have Alzheimer's or something.

My mother died at 24. We don't get to choose how long we live unless we take our own life. That's why it's so important to make sure the people you love hear you tell them and watch you show them. We never known when "today" will be the last day!!

There are some serious diseases that run in your family. That should motivate you to take good care of yourself: watch your diet, get frequent check-ups, exercise, and avoid stress.
