Each function has an explanation of how it works along with examples to use.
Pay attention to the requirement that the Analysis Tool Pack needs to be installed and checked in Tools > Add-ins.

You can use a product called prism
it connects to your excel in 3 steps and you can start analyzing your excel file/s in no time (i think its in BETA now so it should be free)
