For Christmas eve... yahoo deleted my "Night before Christmas" poem. Do you think the poem violated community standards in R&S?

Technically, I did ask a question after the poem...

Would it get deleted again if I posted it in Poetry?

Ok... I've reposted it in Poetry...

I believe it had 72 stars, 70 answers, and no thumbs down... I had never seen that before in R&S...

Try posting it in Holidays > Christmas. (It really belongs in R&S, but it's better in Christmas than nowhere at all).

If UP hasn't saved it, I know I did. I'll give him the honors of posting.

Oh NOOOO and I didn't even save it!

That sucks big time! Who would be offended by such a lovely poem?! *cries*

((((UP)))

And more than 70 stars?! That is so unfair. You've acomplished what no other person on R&S did - there was not a single thumb down as far as I recall. That was so beautiful to see. Thank you again, you made my day yesterday really :)

It really explains alot of things, Its well thought out and it makes since, Its like a cause and effect poem Something happens then the effect happens, It makes me think about society in a meaning ful way. It gives a oral message and that is what a poem means, Its complication is sensible and i get every word of it ( Sorry if you do not understand my word choice i come from a "big" word family) If you dont understand my answer ill put it in a more easier way: It really speaks out to me and makes alot of since

I LOVED it...it was awesome!!! I suggest you re-post in Poetry and ask 'What do you think of this poem?' in the Question line. That way there is no basis for a violation.

I'm so sorry they deleted it :(

No I don't think it violated anything but you know some people aren't happy if they can't hit the report button. Re-post it in poetry, I can't see that it would get deleted there.

I didn't see it the first time. Can you repost it? People post their poems and songs all the time. I don't see why it would need to be deleted.

Edit: That was an excellent poem! I wonder why they would remove such talent?

It sucks that it was deleted, but there are some report trolls going around. I had a couple questions from when I first got on here deleted yesterday.

I loved your poem. Apparently there are some illiterate, jealous community members who can't tolerate someone with talent and humor and they trolled around and reported you. Their loss.

Well, if you post it in poetry and ask what people's opinions of it are, it is technically, a question.

Try that.

Yahoo has no Christmas spirit. The Yamster's heart is two sizes too small.
