I would tend to agree. If anyone plays "Christmas Shoes" by Alabama one more time, I may become violent, and join the "other side". ;0)

This is the most hilarious question I've seen yet!
I'm a christian, but I'm with you: I can't stand those songs! I'm picky about my music, and I don't like holiday music, because it's cutting in on my regular music, and that's annoying. (Actually, there are a few songs I can stand, but I'm talking about for the most part)

To me, it's just one more thing artists do to make more money. Nothing wrong with that, but I just wish the radio stations wouldn't play them so much for two whole weeks before Christmas every year.

It's like everyone's gone Christmas Crazy! Personally, I don't even celebrate Christmas. I find nothing biblically wrong with it, it's just my opinion that it would make more sense to christianize and celebrate Jewish holidays, rather than christianizing and celebrating pagan holidays, since christianity is rooted in Judaism anyway. But, the church back then was anti-semitic, so they had the opposite opinion at that time, and it seemed perfectly rational to them to christianize and celebrate paganism. To me, it seems pointless.

I hate to be pedantic, but it's 'War on Christmas™'. I got in a bit of trouble from the higher-ups last week for not using the trademark.

No because most of them sing about the religious part of Christmas on their CD's.

You're not counting Band Aid in that, right? RIGHT?

I bought my son A Conway Twitty Christmas.

If he's bad I will make him listen to it. War, it's on.

The real meaning of Christmas:
We read in God's Holy Law-Book the Bible in Isaiah 42:5-9 Thus saith God JAHWEH, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I JAHWEH have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am JAHWEH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
