color flash vs. regular flash?

im thinking about buying a Holga camera and there are 2 different kinds that i could buy. there is one with a color flash and one with a regular flash. i guess my question is whats the difference? also which one is better?

They still do color flash? That was a technique I read about back in the 80's. You put the opposite color filter on your lens, and whatever is lit by flash is normal, but the background is colored.

My daughter has the color flash Holga, but the same thing could be accomplished by putting color gels, or color cellophane in front of the flash.
