It's delicious topped with a little butter and salt and pepper. It is also very good topped with heated mushroom soup (use less milk when preparing it..so that it is thicker) or try subsituting chicken broth for the water when you are cooking the rice and dice some onion in the chicken broth (before cooking). This is really scrumptious and nothing is needed on the rice then. Also, for a chinese twist on it, there is a sweet and sour sauce by Contidina that is excellent and has pineapple chunks in it. Or, you can try a little terriyaki sauce, and believe it or not..spaghetti sauce is also very good on rice.

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 TBS soy sauce
fresh or canned mushrooms sliced
1 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 green onions minced
1 TBS butter

Saute the green onions and mushrooms in butter. Add remaining ingredients.

Serve over rice or noodles.

I hope this helps you out! Merry Christmas!

Stir fry some veggies and top with that. Make some chili and use that. These are ways of making a meal with it....not just a type of sauce.

Black beans (and that liquid stuff that you make the black beans with) and put some italian dressing on it too. My family makes it every year for Christmas Eve, its a Cuban tradition.
