Moses was in an ark (basket) but took no animals in.
Noah on the other hand took them in by pairs male and female. when he took 7 which is 3 pairs = 6 3 males +3 females to breed & reproduce to refill the earth. that leaves one animal of the 7 left. the 7th animal was used for sacrafice when the dry land reappeared.

First of all Noah not Moses was the ark guy. Secondly some of the animals were carnivores and had to be feed (for a year it turned out) Not to mention the eight member of his own family (Though fishing was an option). Only when he landed did he offer sacrifice.

First of all as most people realized it is Noah and not Moses. Noah took two of every non-clean animals and seven pairs of clean animals on to the ark.

(Exodus 2:5-10) 5Â After a while Phar′aoh’s daughter came down to bathe in the Nile River, and her female attendants were walking by the side of the Nile River. And she caught sight of the ark in the middle of the reeds. Immediately she sent her slave girl that she might get it. 6Â When she opened it she got to see the child, and here the boy was weeping. At that she felt compassion for him, although she said: “This is one of the children of the Hebrews.” 7Â Then his sister said to Phar′aoh’s daughter: “Shall I go and specially call for you a nursing woman from the Hebrew women that she may nurse the child for you?” 8Â So Phar′aoh’s daughter said to her: “Go!” At once the maiden went and called the child’s mother. 9Â Phar′aoh’s daughter then said to her: “Take this child with you and nurse him for me, and I myself shall give you your wages.” Accordingly the woman took the child and nursed him. 10Â And the child grew up. Then she brought him to Phar′aoh’s daughter, so that he became a son to her; and she proceeded to call his name Moses and to say: “It is because I have drawn him out of the water.”
He was by himself as a child... So he had no animals with him... Now if you are looking for animals and Ark, then like everyone here knows is Noah...
