Yoghurt or Sugar
I believe Ice Cold drinks are bad as they are at the other end of the burning sensation you are having. Warm Drinks are a good idea as it will still be cooler than the curry and give you some relief.
If I burn my hand, I always run it under warm water, as it will still be cooler than the burn and not a shock to the system as very cold water.

Try a yogurt drink (kiefer) or just plain (not flavored or sweetened yogurt it will sooth the burn. Avoid sugar as it intensifies the burn by trapping it on the taste buds. Water helps too but yogurt is best. Good Luck!

Bread is good, as is drinking a glass of milk.
Both will absorb some of the oils that are burning your mouth.
