Abyssinian, far and away my favorite breed!! I vow never to live without an Abby in my home from now on, even if it is the only pet I can have. My kitty is only half Abby, but has all the Abyssinian traits, personality and energy of a full breed cat. All the Abbies I have met remind me so much of my own cat, and to know one is to love one. I love the vocalizations of the breed too, they can be loud at times, but very sweet calls non the less. They are also one of the smartest cat breeds, and my other two cats seem dumb as mud next to her. Whether I go to a breeder or a rescue I will get another one after my old girl is gone, as I think they are the greatest cats ever, for me at least.

My Fave: a rare cat, a CHARTREUX...Google it!
I had the honor of having one in my life for 12 short years. He was a handsome solid grey, gentle giant with huge gold eyes, a big teddy-bear-of-a-cat. He was loved by all, cat lovers or not.
Even my vet cried when we had to put him to sleep, due to a tumor.
This will be my first Christmas, in 12 years, without him.

My favorite type of cat would be just a plain short haired gray male. I've had two of them - very affectionate guys.
One of them - my all time favorite cat - is sitting on my lap at this moment. Truman, my 18 year old buddy.

the best cat I ever knew was named Maddy, and she belonged to a college room mate. She played great games, was friendly, and smart.
My favorite cat of my own was (shh, don't tell my current cat) my previous one, Molly, who lived w/ me for 16.5 years. I found her on the street. I'm happy w/ the current one, though, she's very affectionate in her own way, but having been feral when I found her, will probably never be a lap cat.

Of course mine! He is a Turkish Van, very large, very white except his coon striped tail with ears to match with big blues eyes! His full name is Buddy Gluten Lush because he wants to be everybodies buddy. He shows up anytime he hears smooches. I'm not sure he knows he's a cat he acts like a dog, he comes when I whistle for him, likes to play in the water (tries to get in the tub with me) and will fetch about 75% of the time! And gives the biggest hugs with both paws around my neck rubbing noses with me!

Anything with a cute face, but my favorite is the Maine Coon( and mine of course),Norwegian Forest cat and the Siberian!
