whenever my dad plays with my dog, it always pees. we think because it gets nervous or something. but can we change this about my dog?

He pees because he is excited. Unless there is a medical reason that can be addressed by your vet. The best thing is to play with the dog in a less excited manner. If the dog is very young sometimes they will just outgrown it. But it's the excitement that causes it. Some dogs will pee in the floor when you first get home because they are so excited. The best way to cure that is to come in without talking or making eye contact with the animal until everything is calm.

This is a normal behavior. Some dogs either show excited urination or submissive urination. This website will help..

I fostered a dog, every time my father came home she would pee, I fixed the problem by taking her out every time she started to got to excited.

I think it's a form of submission and he is just acknowledging your dad as the pack leader, don't worry , he should grow out of it soon.

Whatever you do he shouldn't be punished, all he's doing is acting like a low level member of a pack.

My dog does that to my grandpa and only him when he shows up.. i guess its cause she doesnt see him alot but it weird she gets super excited and pees... i dont know how to get her out of it eighther because she is potty trained already so its like she does it to show him she happy?

It is called submissive urination, and it can be improved with gentle persistent training. It is not considered normal or acceptable but it can be corrected.
