Arapahoe Basin in Colorado is known to stay open until the 4th of July-- so if you can make a trip, that's worth it!

There are other places that you can go snowboarding on sand dunes- but probably no major "jibbing" things to be had.

Buying your own snow machine is pretty expensive!

We have the same problem every summer. Some of our ski school staff found a solution by using this stuff.

It's not bad on small kickers in the backyard.

Also: Snowmakers are expensive. You also need a lot of water and your power bill will go thru the roof. They also don't work until you hit 28F....and that is mostly just slush. Optimal temps for snowmaking are between 15F-19F. The snow is good at that temp and any colder and the machines start to freeze up.

Im not sure where you live... but i am pretty sure you can order snow... A truck will drop off a bunch of snow in your yard and you can do whatever with it...

My friend does this every year... not sure how much it will cost or anything other than that...

Hope this helps =P

Merry Christmas
