The manufacturers and accountants are quite convinced that this size is all you need for your bed. The wonderful width of he queen size mattress should be plenty of room for any person to sleep in. (disregard that the majority of those who own these mattresses sleep as couples and thereto raise the sheets a few inches more.)
I prefer king size blankets and comforters as well.

The fit better on a full- double size and a little small for a queen.. if your bed is a queen.. get a queen size not a full for a better fit.

Barely, I usually buy the king size to fit queen beds. Check the size in inches, not all are the same.

I would go with a king/queen to fit a queen bed. That's what I buy anyway.

Check the actual measurements - some of them are a bit smaller.

It also depends on the depth of your Queen size mattress. . Measure across your mattress and add on for the drop on the sides to make sure it covers the entire mattress. Then compare that measurement to the size of the comforter. With the newer depth of mattresses today, you might need a wider one. And if you have an extra padded mattress pad on the bed, make sure that you have it in place before you measure.

If they're listed to fit both, they are over sized to fit the queen, and will fit the full bed also.
