I'm going with Cogito, ergo sum... I think, therefore I am!

If I was dead, I would not have the ability to think...

Who says that we don't know what death feels like?

Let me explain with a question:

What did it feel like when you personally curred cancer while exploring the Moon in your own designed spaceship?

You cannot honestly answer this because it is impossible for anyone, yourself included, to answer a question about a feeling that simply does NOT exist!

Since there is no feeling after death the answer is superfluous!

Exactly! Perhaps that is why at Ecclesiastes 9:10 we can read: "All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is NO work, NOR devising, NOR knowledge, NOR wisdom in She`ol, the place to which you are going."

If we are NOT aware of anything in She`ol (common grave) then how could we know if we are being tormented and tortured in "HELL"? Hell is/was the word used to replace She`ol and Hades in the old and new testament, and was NEVER even a belief of the TRUE authors of the Bible, or of Jesus, or of his original disciples.

Just another man-made scare tactic to abuse the truth and control.

That is a really good question

I know I'm not dead because the bible says we will go to heaven when we die.

And I know we aren't in Heaven because everything is perfect in Heaven

I don't know what explosive decompression feels like either, but I'm pretty sure it's not happening right now.

Probably because I have a pulse and I'm breathing. I learned that one in nursing school.

"Dyin' felt so ___ good today. If I was ever alive, well it's hard to say."
'Paegan Love Song' by Acid Bath; Lyrics by Dax Riggs (my hero. "Paegan" is his spelling, not my preferred spelling, though. 'Paegan' is olde English; I prefer "Pagan".)

Maybe we're all dead, and when we "die", that's when we become who we're meant to be.
