My dog is makeing these weird throw uppy kind of noises. Just think of a regular dog throwing up, without the throw up. Its kind of scary O.o She keeps doing it over and over again. My mother said its just her cooling off...Its winter break and its snowing helloo. She dosent look like shes dieing though because after each throwuppy thing she getts all happy. I would still like to know what it is. Help please :]]

She might be dry-heaving, which is basically throwing up air..
Or she could be gagging, try taking it to a vet, I don't think it's very serious, but you should have her checked on just in case

No, I don't think it's gagging or cooling off. It sounds like reverse sneezing to me. Is it a kind of snorting noise like she is inhaling very loudly?

It is nothing to worry about as long as it is not debilitating, ie she is not doing it so often that she cannot move, breathe or generally function properly. If you want to help, you can try putting your hand gently over her nose so she will breathe through her mouth. However, dogs can generally come out of reverse sneezing attacks without help and without suffering any permanent damage, so you needn't worry about having to be there to assist at every time.

Is she still eating, drinking and pooping normally. If not, call the vet. If she is doing these things like she normally does I wouldn't be very worried unless this has been happening for a day or longer.

Your Mom is not a vet !! Tell her to take the dog to the vet !! If you were making these noises you'd be at the doctor !!

Sorry to disagree with your mom. The dog is not cooling off. They pant to do that. Sounds like she is gagging on something. If she continues this she needs to visit the vet.

It sounds like she is gagging. I would try and look down her throat, but you should also call the vet for good measure!
