I didn't have any religious affiliation, but I have researched all the major religions of the world before I decided I don't belong to any of them. I don't consider myself an Atheist, however. Because I consider Atheism the other end of extremists.

I was born in a Muslim family and in a country where Muslims are majority, Bangladesh. Religious education is compulsory here up to grade 10, I knew I didn't believe in many things in religion from my first grade, by the time I was in 9th grade, I realized I'm an atheist.

Methodist. I'm still a member of the UMC, technically, since I think that officially leaving the church I grew up in would hurt my mother more than her finding out I'm an atheist. In that same spirit of keeping peace in the family, I'll be attending Christmas Eve services tonight.

I was brought up to think for myself. I learnt a lot about various religions at school and had friends with religious upbringings. None of this convinced me that it was more than a lot of made up nonsense designed to give a small elite power and control over me, and I have spoken out about it ever since.
