Energy is spiritual. It is the effective force to perform work.
God's energy is shown in nature:
"4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast F214 understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations F215 thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? 9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?" - Job 38:4-11.
God's energy is beyond natural law:
"He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud." - Job 26:12.
God's energy maintains matter:
"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" - Hebrews 1:3.
God is the source of man's energy:
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." - Acts 1:8.
This accounts for both abundant living as well as miracles:
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another." - Romans 15:13,14.
It is by God's energy that the dead shall arise on the last day:
"And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power." - 1 Corinthians 6:13.
"For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you." - 2 Corinthians 13:4.

Both! An example of scientific energy is a place called "The Mystery Spot" a short drive away. Many people have come to visit this place to see the mysteries of the earths energy. As a kid first visiting this place I was totally entertained and returned several times. Spiritual energy is something common to all people and certain energy's with people can even be measured by experts. People also have other spiritual energy's we do not fully understand.
