Are the Christians doubt that God will save them from terrorism by asking the help from policemen?

O holy night, O silent night,
but the believers are in fright.
Where's the God with all His might?
Without the police will it be alright?

Happy Winter Solstice Everyone~!

Did you ever hear the joke/parable -

A man was in his house when a flood came.
The waters began to rise and his neighbors said, "We'll help you leave in our truck." And the man replied, "God will save me."
The waters rose higher, and a rescue team came in a small boat and the man still replied, "God will save me." Later, the waters rose so high, that the man had to go onto his roof.
A helicopter came to his aid, but the man once again refused saying, "God will save me."
The man drowned in the flood.
At the pearly gates, the man meets St. Peter and asked, "why didn't God save me?" and St. Peter replied, "Well, He sent you a truck, a boat, and a helicopter, but you refused."

We are all called to represent Christ to other's in this world. Christ is a light for us, and His light can shine through us.

If someone is suffering because of an illness, or evils that have been inflicted on them, God's help can come in the form of another person helping them.
"What so ever you do to the least of my people, you do unto Me." - Gospels

When there is war and violence among us, God calls on us to help. God can come in the form of a police squad trying to keep the peace. God can come in the form of a doctor trying to help a sick person, or in the form of a friend giving you support, or in the form of a loving child who gives us a hug, or in the form of the sick, the poor, the suffering, and the needy....

I don't get it why anyone could hate Christmas. Is it because the love, joy, peace, and the hope it represents? It really saddens me to hear how suicides increase this time of year. We need to remember not everyone is having a wonderful time this year. For some people this is the most difficult time. We need to remember this and try to help those in need. That's what this season is all about. Love, joy, peace, and hope. This is when Christ God's Son was sent to earth as a gift to bring us salvation. To anyone who is having a rough time this year, maybe you've lost a loved one or you feel lonely or unloved. Take heart and know that you aren't unloved that there is someone who cares about you and even more importantly there is a God who loves you enough to send his only Son to this earth. I know that without Him my life wouldn't be worth living, but because of Him I truly now can live.

Merry Christmas

With some apologies to Mr. J. Lennon, atheist:

They say that it's Christmas, and atheists don't care/ It might be Christmas, with only cash in the air./Oh one day they'll notice/there's no one around/they'll wonder where we've gone/without a sound...
Oh then it will be Christmas, and New Year's the same/with G-d in Heaven/you'll see life was no Game!

Joyous Noel.

He is here just like he has always been. He hears your words. You will answer to him for them.

Isaiah 42:14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

God has to abide by the laws of the universe that he put into play. He also has to allow people free will, which includes those who want to bomb churches.
He is where he always is. Watching over. Hoping we will choose love and compassion.
