The government are meant to be running the country, not trying to own and control people's lives, or giving themselves the right to decide when a person should be able to die
How can people sit back and allow a democratically elected government to be able to force someone to suffer to death based on a primitive religious belief?

Euthanisia statistics will be hard to come by except in areas where they have Right to Die laws (e.g. Oregon). Euthanasia occurs everywhere--but it's hidden because it's illegal.

Oregons' stats from an apparantly biased source. My personal beliefs are that individuals have the right to make informed decisions about their own lives, but this is the only page with stats that I could find quickly.
