This term appears several times throughout the New Testament. One such example is I Thessalonians 5:26: “Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.” What is a “holy kiss”?

It means giving a simple chaste show of affection;-}
Catholics do this during every Mass, after the Lord's Prayer.
It used to be called the 'Kiss of Peace' done by clergy only.
Since Vatican II, we also greet one another in Christ.

this was common in the day for christians to great one another. like today we shake hands. a holy kiss is not to be mistaken for any romantic or gay tendencies. which some would like to see. its to be done on the cheek with no intentions except greeting to one another in Christ.
