Any and all gods.

The concept of a God is the issue here rather than which God. Atheists do not believe that a master creator/spiritual icon existed or still exists.
Surely, you can understand why a person does not believe this ideology?
Religions and Gods are beliefs which some people are unconvinced with, yet, most atheists accept that the God theory is very important to others. Simple as that.

This is really an ontological proof of the existence of God. Philosophers stopped doing them in the middle-ages because they're purely armchair thinking and have no empirical value whatsoever.

If I understand you right, you can not disbelieve in a concept unless you grasp that concept. Therefore, saying you don't believe in God would be ipso facto absurd.

However, I can respond to this argument by stating that it would be equally impossible, by the same token, to say you don't believe in leprechauns, or unicorns. What are those leprechauns or unicorns you claim to not believe in? Surely you know of them, otherwise you couldn't speak of them. So they too must exist. And so, by the way, must Zeus and Aphrodite.

Anything supernatural . You name it . If it's not of the natural world , it's just superstition .
That doesn't mean a particular "god" , but any god , angels , devils , zombies , spooks , souls ,heaven , evil eye , spells , curses , etc . If it can't be scientifically explained , if it can't be duplicated , if it can't be tested for , it's just superstition - - it doesn't and never had existed except in the imagination of superstitious people .

All gods that other people believe in. One of the main beliefs of an atheist is that there is no afterlife.

As an atheist I always say that I believe in nogod. It's more positive and stops people asking stupid questions like this one.

Why does it always have to be about the christian "God"? Its not just a rebellion to christianity...

atheists believe that there is no divine presence, whether it be god or any other spiritual beings. that there is nothing after the big dirt nap. That we are really not any different or better then other animals.

We reject the human desire to be a part of something greater. We understand and are at peace that we are mediocre and that we are not part of a bigger plan.

Semantics? That's your best argument against atheism? Semantics?

This is why I say I lack a belief in gods - because of twits like you.

If you don't believe in Santa then who is this Santa that you don't believe in?
