It doesn't look like anyone's published one yet. If you know the name of the funeral home, then you can contact them. They're the ones responsible for placing the obit. Otherwise just keep searching at this site to see if one is placed on his bahalf: http://www.legacy.com/Obituaries.asp?Page=OBITFINDERRESULTS


If it only happened 2 days ago, then the death certificate probably isn't even filed yet. You can't get much other information, even from SSDI, until the formalities are complete.

As of Christmas Eve 2007 at 9:30 a.m. CST, Mr. Butler's obituary has yet to appear on the Internet site of the Houston Chronicle. You might check back later.

Yes, if he died as recently as the day before yesterday, his obituary may not be published yet. You can google "Houston Texas newspapers" and then check each one's obituaries for the next few days. Good luck!
