There may appear to be too many immigrants but we wont talk them out of existance. They are here and that is where they will stay bar the island sinking. I Personally would not vouch for may of the english, I think a few eagar poles is what we need to kick start some who have been free loading. This term 'our own' is very shallow. I feel more kinship with the Pole I meet on the bus ay 0700 on my way to work than some members of our society etc who bum out and show up at the NHS with a sore **** from compacting it for generations. These people arrive poor and work themselves out of a hole. They train and retrain, learn a new language and fight their corner. What day of the week could you get some people to show up for free training? People who are unproductive should be penalized but I would hate to see the Romanian guy who learnt his trade in a foreign language and now can in the space of a year really impress the top of his field. British people feel entitled to greatness, that day has passed, its been a long time since we won any wars and we are losing the economic war against the rest of the world bumming out and getting dole. I think these 'benefits' should be scapped for all, see how quickly you can out do a EU or non-EU being first in line then. Spoilt spoilt spoilt.

Im not one for racism or nationilism really, but from reading extensively on the situation it seems that things were fine until the labour party scrapped the immirgation rules as they were seen as "racist" and so we have had no control and criminal fraternities taking advantage of this fact. Some immigration is clearly alright, and good decent people who want to work should be fine as well.. i think as with all things in life, Balance is the key. So, control immigration and approach it with common sense. I have to say that i think 90% of the nation seems tired of the words Politcally Correct.. even the minority groups who have settled and work!

Yes. I think a solution would be that you can't immediately sign on the dole and/claim any sort of benefits until you have worked for at least a year. You can't take out before putting into the system (that should work for everyone not just immigrants). I really think we need to look at what roles we have for immigrants to fill, shelf stackers and pickers/packers are two a penny and aren't really the basis of a solid economy. They say that 4 in every 5 jobs are taken by foreign workers, because english workers don't want to work. I'm iclined to believe that (have a look at some of the shiftless bastards down your local nash office and you'll see what i mean). So how do you fill the jobs? Get immigrant labour to fill those roles. I sometimes think that a lot of people who whine about immigrants are part of the problem (not everyone) I think it's something that needs to be looked at from all angles and to find something that works for everyone but has to be bias in favour of jobs going to citizens of the UK before any immigrants (i believe hong kong has a similar policy of favouring chinese nationals before anyone else).
In response to those who have mentioned illegal immigrants: It is quite legal under international law to return migrants to their country of entry, which in most cases would be France, but do you ever wonder why we don't?

Just like your friendly Labour party did last week,
sign over England to Europe, open the boarders ,don't tell the public until its a done deal, then pi-s off for Christmas holidays thinking of things to spend your forthcoming 10% pay rise on.
merry Christmas to my fellow mugs letting it happen behind our backs.

TomP_198 is correct. The government and people in trade and industry are only interested in cheap (Slave) labour. The government have managed to keep inflation low by allowing only 2.5 or less salary increases to the lower paid while the well off are allowed to earn what ever they like. ( Goldman Sachs for instance) Bonuses of up to £10, 000000. Yes that figure is correct. You also have to include the big banks and other corporate companies who, every year, increase their profits by 10 or 20 per cent. One day the government of this country, it could be useless Labour or hopeless Tories, will awake and find they have the worst National strike on their hands that there has ever been and, I would be one of it's leaders.

Yes there are far too many people coming here from the EU. The solution is to pull out of the EU or to have a limit on the numbers that come here from EU countries.

UK was built from resources stolen from "foreigners"land in the days gone past.
They killed and brutalised the"foreigners" forefathers.
They the "foreigners" have evry right to come and work and settle here.
As for you....crawl back to your hole.

to be quite honest, i don't think i have a problem with immegrents. i have a problem with foreighners who think that they can come in after contributing nothing to the country before hand, claiming a free house (when be have our own stuck on the streets) and demanding money that has come from our hard-working pockets. and not trying to contribute anything to the country, just want, want, want.
