i don't hate anybody for believing anything, after all the constitution says that we are aloud to believe whatever we want, so why do have to hate people for what they believe
i think that christian beliefs are stupid but i don't think christians themselves are stupid

My entire family is Christian.
I don't hate my mother. To my knowledge, she doesn't hate me either. But that's mainly due to the fact that I've never told her I'm an atheist.
Religion breeds hate. Alternatively, atheism is the ultimate expression of tolerance.

I do not hate Christmas. The only Christians that I hate are the ones that shove religion into peoples faces and are the ones trying to remove the wall of separation between church and state as well as wanting to make this country a Theocracy.
Those are ones that I hate.

On the whole, yes. I hate the non-sequiteurs they consider rational argument, I hate the way they've held back progress and repressed free thought for centuries, and I especially hate the arrogance they display. Arrogance is fine when you actually have something worthy to be arrogant about.
So yes, they can believe whatever they want. But I tend to draw a line in the sand, and state clearly that I just don't like them. Conciliatory approaches of 'Oh, can't we all just get along' allow the more rabid of them to walk all over civil and moral boundaries every day.
Anyhow, Happy Christmas! ;)

The atheists and a good number of different communities hate Christians because of the fact we declare to be the only thank you to heaven. Exclusivity isn't enjoyed while you at the instant are not an element of it. to date as being no longer super to nonbelievers. There are undesirable seeds in each and every team. i comprehend many that declare to be christian, yet do and say issues that are thoroughly adversarial to christian ideals. we could desire to consistently appreciate anybody, whether we've the commandment to share the solid information of Jesus Christ to anybody. If somebody constantly denies Christ, faster or later a christian has to pass on and could consequently look detached to the guy considering the fact that there's no longer something extra we are able to do to help him believe.

I would never speak for all atheists but I do not hate christians. Granted there are some I don't respect because they don't respect me... that's always a two way street. I'm the only atheist in my family - the rest are all christians of various denominations. I'm also married to a christian.

Bird Lover,
I believe that we all have an opportunity to form and have our own beliefs and they must "belong to us". I harbor no ill-feelings toward others for their beliefs. In fact I think that it is wonderful to have so many individuals able to have their own personal beliefs and live this close to one another. Although I am a Christian, I have many Non-Christian friends that I correspond with very regularly. We get along very well and understand that we will not push our beliefs "on one another" as a courtesy. Have a wonderful Christmas with you family.
Thanks,
Eds

Most atheists don't hate most Christians. I'm an atheist and most of the women I've dated have been Christian. I ended up marrying one who is Jewish. If someone tells you that atheists hate Christians then they are not telling you the truth.

I don't hate Christians. Being from a Catholic country and going to a Catholic school, I often find myself defending Catholicism from people on this site who don't know anything about it.

I do not hate anyone. I do not presume to call any genuine belief "stupid," either. I try to respect all beliefs that are GENUINE.
It does make me sad when some atheists call me a stupid, retarded, worthless piece of trash, though.
Thank you, and have a great day!

I hate no one.
I do hate how many christians try to make their religion into law, but I understand that they really don't know any better.
