The mind of God and His unconditional love He has for His creation. He sent us His only Son, Jesus, to show us that the perfect life He displayed was the exact kind of life we could be living. Jesus was perfect and in His perfection, He plainly stated that "If you truly believe in me, and the WORKS that I do, greater works than these shall you do, because I go to the Father!" Jesus also rebuked those who had little faith, like Peter, When Peter knew it was Jesus walking out to them in the storm and on the water, Peter was the only one who had the faith, to ask Jesus to bid him to come to Him. Jesus did. and Peter got out of the boat, walking on the water and then began looking around and losing faith and began to sink crying out, Lord, Save me! and Jesus got him and they got in the boat together. You see, Jesus gave us His life so that we could do as he done. He was glorified and now sits at the right hand of God and giving eternal life to all who believes but His also gives you and me His power to do as He done. He said, in Marks Gospel 16 chap. Go ye, in all the world and preach the Gospel of my Kindom, those believing shall be saved and those who don't will be judged and thiese signs shall follow them that believe..In my name, shall you cast out demons, you shall speak with new tongues, you shall have power over the eliments of this world and if you should drink anything deadly, it won't harm you, and you shall lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover!! This is Jesus giving the command of all believers in Christ. We are kings to do as Jesus has showed us. Where is your faith? Do you have the Holy Spirit of Christmas in you? Receive Him, walk in this new life and do as Jesus died for you to do. Doubt and unbelief will stop you just as it did Jesus but God will direct you to where the faithful is and signs will follow the Christ in you..This is why Jesus was born. For you. Merry Christmas.

Most people don't even know what faith is. In Luke 18 is the story of the unjust judge, and the woman who came back over and over again even after he said "No." Then Jesus' comment after the story is "when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"

This story should give us an idea of what faith is. We need to continue to take a stand on God's Word even when circumstanced say that it doesn't work.

Most will pray for healing one time and not get healed, then say, "Well, it must not have been God's will." (Then they go to the doctor) Healing is always God's will. That is just a way to get the blame off of us, and put it on God. That ain't right.

Most will get offended when they are told that they don't have enough faith, instead of humbling themselves to learning how to get more faith. People seem to believe in the testing of our faith, but not many seem to believe in passing the test.

I've got a certain amount of faith. Breaking my are was the best faith builder I ever had. Here is a link to my testimony: http://p207.ezboard.com/fjehovahraphafrm10.showMessage?topicID=1.topic

I totally believe in Jesus, that he sacrificed himself for our sins, was raised up and will come again. We have to hear God's word Romans 10:17 We have to believe Hebrews 11:6 Acts 16:31; We have to repent Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30; We have to confess Romans 10:10; Acts 8:35,36,37,38,39;
and be immersed in baptism for remission of sins Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:26,27 Romans 6:1,2,3,4 1 Peter 3:21; Mark 16:16 and then read and study the scriptures daily and do ONLY what God commands and authorizes. Heaven will be our eternal reward

I closely relate to Caveman's answer. Faith to me, like St. Augustine said, is the ability to believe in that which is not seen and the reward of this faith is to see what is believed.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen [from Heb 11:1] And we've all been given a measure of faith. It's up to me what I do with what I'm given. FAITH is very much the structure I move about in on this planet, much like a clear hamster ball.

I practice expanding my ABILITY of faith. And so, I'm off now to church, to help speak Truth (spread the gospel), and to worship in with like-minded people.

Thanks for the uplifting words. Easier to read if you break them into paragraphs. But I read your whole statement following the Q. May peace prevail.

i have faith, i think that we all could use extra strengthening of our faith from time to time, we are only human and tend to doubt ourselves and our faith, but when i start to feel that way, i pray for gods grace to provide me with the faith i need. i know that god will care for me and all my needs, he always has.

Yes, I do. I'm not sure what faith you're talking about, however, because you don't use any paragraph breaks, which makes your text too hard to read. So I skipped it and just answered the question in the subject.
