I would like to know if the boot troop in the SAS is like the seals and if not are the SBS like the seals more than the SAS.

Well they are all pretty much the same as well as the U.S.Army's Delta Force and Germany's GSG9. I would say though that the Royal Marine SBS is probably closer to the SEALS.

The British SAS and SBS are the model upon which American Special Forces were patterned.

Special Boat Squadron is a unit drawn from the Royal Marines. So, the closest U.S. equivalent would be a Marine Force Reconnaissance Company.
