As a fellow muslim has said...its about the blood of the innocent...
my personal opinion is that its a twist of the ye ol: sacrifice the lamb thing in Judaism, but instead of a lamb, its a human being, a so called: sinless one..
which doesnt make sense because humans arent supposed to be sinless..if they are...then theyre not human.
as for the whole lamb deal, God told Abraham to sacrifice the lamb instead of his son because God is against human sacrifice...
so turning around and changing His mind later, sounds awfully wrong to me.
again..a simple opinion

In the OT the forgiveness of sins was done through the priest who would offer up animal sacrifices to God
The sick man would go to the priest and he would make the correct sacrifice. God would then heal that person
In the apostolic era of the NT God did away with ritual animal slaughter and made it possible for men to provide forgiveness of sins directly through the laying-on-of-hands. In other words, the Priests were capable of healing and taking away men's sins directly.
Jesus is God's high-priest.
Every 2000 years or so he is sent to Earth to show humans the way to God and is equipped to take the sins of men away directly. His teaching also tells us that we as all men, have the capacity and potential to become HOLY God-men. The reason why he was crucified was that people refused to believe the truth and not much has changed since he was crucified. Other people who knew the truth and applied it to their lives also became HOLY (St. Paul & the rest)
Unfortunately the modern church has lost the way.
God sends his great high priest to us because he loves us and becausue he has awesome things for us.

Excellent question!
"The wages of sin is death." Only a perfect sacrifice would suffice, thus God Himself (because He IS LOVE) came to pay a debt He did not owe, for those who owed a debt they could not pay. It is called "GRACE"....God giving us something we don't deserve (a pardon) instead of what we DO deserve (death/hell.)
God didn't HAVE to pay for it, so it wasn't a matter of "should He", but a judicial matter of "payment MUST be made IF there was to be a reconciliation."
The Bible says that "there is NO forgiveness of sin WITHOUT the shedding of blood." God set the standard, and He is the ONE who paid for the sins of mankind.
Its a beautiful picture to us who only do nice things for those who act like we think they SHOULD. God says that "Christ died for us while we were yet sinners"...He didn't wait for anyone to clean up their act, or to be sorry, or to change their ways.
Its an awesome thing to know that God has demonstrated His
love for us thru taking the punishment upon Himself. NO ONE has to go to hell or be separated from God anymore. He has removed the enmity between us.
So why doesn't everyone clamour for this FREE GIFT? We have an "enemy" who would rather see us stay entangled in our sin and to die with no hope, than to find true "freedom in Christ." This is a a warfare between God and Satan. Hell was made for him and his fallen angels.
I appreciate your insightful questions that give we who KNOW a chance to share Gods wonderful good news with others. It is an awesome priviledge to join God in HIS GOAL " of making ALL men SEE what is the fellowship of the Mystery which from before the world was HID IN GOD...

easy, that view is consistent with the Bible. John one million.one million-14 first expresses that Jesus is the be conscious and actually the GOD and then in verse 14 John states that the be conscious grew to grow to be flesh. The be conscious (Jesus) is the everlasting God. That divine, 2nd guy or woman of what's called the trinity actually grew to grow to be a man or woman. it rather is shown someplace else and defined greater deeply in Philippians 2. Micah 5.one million-3 additionally tricks on the undeniable fact that the Messiah is God who turns right into a guy. The textual content cloth reads, "O Bethlehem, Ephrata (an older call for Bethlehem), nonetheless you're least between the clans of Israel, out of you shall pass forth one whose goings forth are from until eventually now, even from the days of eternity."

Because Gods law is an eye for an eye...it would take a lot of eyes to cover the sins of humanity...No Man can equal that debt. not even a perfect man and certianly not an Angel.

The Pauline gospel is popular because it gives a sense that everything is OK, when nothing has changed.
Jesus DID NOT Preach that God becomes human to pay for sins.
He taught the Kingdom Gospel which is VERY different than the gospel we hear these days.
It's a puzzling thing, but this resource spells out the difference between these two gospels.

Before you delve into the theological debate of divinity & sin do as i did research the origins of christianity /// from its origins within the roman empire.. why it was embraced by the roman empire ... its actual purpose/// how when the roman empire split into two due to politics the christian faith also splits ( western empire based in italy evolved into catholic christian faith and the eastern empire based in constantinople became the orthadox christian faith ) .... research who wrote & when the biblical scriptures were written... & more importantly how they were selectively chosen & tailored ...
all this info is historical fact can be found on line ... obviously watch your sources as people have own adjendas ... be open minded ... forgive the sarcasm you could always pray for an answer... personally I'd research it you've more chance of success! good luck good hunting

Because God loves US so much that he gave His only son to be born as man; to suffer on the Cross for All of OUR SINS. Jesus suffered a terrible death for US. In return we should live for God the way He wants us to and spread His word to others. And set an example to as many as we can. We will spend eternity in heaven with God. What a trip that will be.
Merry Christmas.

God is a spirit & always will be a spirit, God did not become a human to die for our sins, But his Son died for our sins, Yet in Jesus Christ the Father dwelled without measure, Therefore It is the Son that die, & not God. How can God die & yet be able to raise Jesus back up on the 3rd day.
