YESS!! You may have been jesting but this is a great question!!
Because of the Ice storms & snow storms & massive electic outages here in the middle USA the mail has been delayed in many places.
So I think your Idea is GREAT & the chocolate one & the photo too.!!!

Yes, I think there has been a lot of people let down this year with delivery.Type up something on your computer, describe the gift (maybe add a picture) and add a Christmassy border around it.Pop it in an envelope ready to give tomorrow.I do that when I order magazines to be delivered through the year to family.

One of our presents haven't arrived in time for tomorrow so we gave a box of chocolates with an IOU. So i think there is no problem.

Mail will still be delivered today so you still have hope, but if the stuff doesn't make it in time and you still have the catalog cut the pictures out and use your imagination on ways to wrap them.

This is the second year that this has happened to me. Give them something else then..........to the catalog company!
Also, don't believe the post office when they say if you mail by such and such a day, your package will arrive on time. Ain't true! I mailed a week before the cut off date and guess what? They lied!
Grr. Thanks for the opportunity to ventilate. (forgive me my rant!)

Print them a piccy of their present from the catalogue and wrap that too!

cut the pictures out of the catalogue and stick those on the iou's...at least they know what they are getting...
