The best program to do that is TuneUp Utilities 2008. You can accelerate your Internet speed, fix registry, derangement your hard disk, make it faster and many more. My computer is now a lot faster when i started using this program.

The above question, its wording, and the English Grammar, Composition, and Spelling skills clearly underscore your level of understanding and capability.
There are NO tricks to increase any speed.
Windows XP "speed" is not adjustable. Your pc's processor and RAM along with programs running in the background determine the "speed" with which you can do things. This does not change XP. If the processor is too slow, you can do nothing there. RAM can be increased and if you are RAM deficient this can help to a limited degree; if you are not RAM deficient adding RAM has no influence in the apparent speed. Background programs that are not needed can be removed and this will free up some processor and RAM capacity for other things and may help the apparent speed of the device. Since you provided no information in regards to your processor and RAM, no one can state with certainty whether you are processor limited or RAM deficient. Had you provided this information, perhaps someone could help you.
The "internet" speed question is equally hard to answer because you provided little information. If you have a 384 Kbps down, 128 Kbps up DSL service, the maximum you will receive is 384 Kbps down, 128 Kbps up. If you are seeing less than this, it can be due to numerous users on your LAN all taking a piece of the capacity - and again we have no information from you in this regard. Your wireless speed is a function of distance from the access point and it further can be slowed by interferences. If you have a clear line of sight between your pc and your access point and you are within 40 meters of the access point you are running at capacity and little if anything can be done. Conversely, if you do not have a clear line of sight between pc and access point and / or you are distant from the point you may help yourself markedly by addressing these items.
Again, with no meaningful information provided, it is extremely difficult to provide any meaningful solutions. You want a generic answer that frankly does not necessarily mean anything.

To speed up internet speeds you can use a program that is made by PC Pitstop called Optimize - http://pcpitstop.com/store/optimize2.asp - I often use this program when I do a new install of XP and the best thing is that once you run the optimizer, you never have to again. The downside is that it is not free, but not that I encourage it, you could be naughty and find a crack, but that is not advised. Hope I Helped.
