You can't dominate and win Cy Youngs in your mid 40s without a little chemical help.

funny how totally ignorant of the facts Red Sox fans are the ones that feel they have to talk smack about Clemens..they prove on a daily basis ..how little they know about sports

as an Oriole fan..

I believe Clemens more than a report produced by the Boston Red Sox..who had a clubhouse employee caught by police for possession of steroids and syringes and not questioned under pressure of Federal Prosecutors..from Boston like the two trainers were..

you can bet those Fed Prosecutors have been to Fenway before too

Yes I believe he lied about his steroid use. I was wondering how long it would be before his name was involved. There are several players in the bigs that went from a smaller build to a huge build in a matter of a short period of time. McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Clemens just to name a few. Sosa is just as guilty as the others look at his size and stats his first few years in the league, smaller build with a weak bat, then his legs, arms, shoulders explode and he starts hitting homers like base hits, it's just not natural and we all knew it. I've been involved with baseball and softball in the amature level for years, you can tell who is and who isn't doing something to "help" their performance.

I think Roger Clemens has used steroids and, or HGH in his career. Redomski said that Andy Pettite also used HGH and Pettite admitted to it. Most of the players in the Mitchell Report seemed to act like they have been using steroids or HGH by rejecting interview offers or just flat out admitting to using performance enhancing drugs of some type. With the evidence from the report I would think that Roger Clemens has used some type of performance enhancing drug in his baseball career.

I love Roger Clemens as a competitor; have for the last 20 years, no reason to stop now....do I think he has taken HGH or
steroids or both?? Absolutely......whether to return from an injury or to enhance performance, surely the former, probably the latter. Why else would he read a prepared statement to profess his innocence, and why wouldn't he personally refer to the statements made by McNamee, and address them specifically??

I give him the benefit of the doubt. I have seen no proof other than a trainer who's motives are unclear. This guy might want to write a book and decided to throw Clemens under the bus.

Clemens took steroids, I'm as positive as I can be without seeing an actual piss-test. I dont believe him for a second.

Not. Clemens obviously used sterioids and I was stupid enough to believe he was never on the roids. And im a Yankees fan!

Look at his size as a Red Sox and then in 1998 forward, it was not a sudden workout alone, and he was becoming a mediocre pitcher his last years as a Sox found an elixir of youth someplace.
