Maybe they are going on planes so they can get home to their families?

What a ridiculous question.

I tried to go to church last night but God made the fog so dense that I could not even find it .Perhaps I should punish God for being so inconsiderate.

The way the human mind works is amazing, and maybe those going away did spend the time in celebrating the birth of Christ. But it has to be one of personal choice.

God does not need fog to punish those who wish to travel at Christmas - you find all airlines inflict their own punishment - its called economy - never turn right when boarding a plane

In that case it would happen every year wouldn't it?

And it also affects those who are going on holiday and will also be going to church in the country they're visiting.
Not very fair is it?

What a load of bollox. Not everyone that doesnt go to church deserves punishment.

Anyway they can go to church overseas when on holiday if they want to.

What planet are you on?
Not everyone waiting to get on a plane is going on holiday.
Some just want to get home to their families for Christmas.
Some God if this is how he punishes.

Since there are a whole lot of people that were trying to get home so they COULD go to church and a whole lot of folks just trying to get home to their families, I'm betting not.

Why would you think God could be so incredibly peevish and petty????

I wouldn't have thought so, it's called the weather and does that from time to time. People do go to church if they are away from their homes you know, strange that you should think otherwise.

But a lot of those travelling would have used local churches for mass!

So no.
