Depnds on the priviliges you have on the machine.
If your logged on to a WiFi the log on the router will still have the log. On the local machine, Try to delete all items in

C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\Cookies

C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\Local Settings\Temp

you mean---you are using others computers and you want a way to hide what you do? Get a laptop of your own for that. Work, and Public Library have networks and they set them up to track what there computers are used for. Firewall, is set to allow it. So to stop it, I would think you look at what is allowed to pass through the firewall.

You can clear your history through control panel, but that only helps a little.

Best to just stay off the porn sites, social networking sites, and game sites. Then who cares if they track you? Work at work, learn at the library!

definite, each and every place you pass on the internet is logged by ability of the college. Your interest is going in the process the college's routers, firewalls, proxy servers, etc. All of those log interest, incoming and outgoing, for protection and administrative motives. Now, while you're purely typing a letter to mom on your pc, and saving it on the C:/ tension, no they at the instant are not monitoring that. yet your community occasions are logged.

at work , there is ISA server and it keeps atrack of your all internet requests . so if you want to go to some website just redirect to it from another site as a link. but even this may not work and the website request will be just recorded .......
i have some advanced solutions for this but i think you don't want it!
