The amount of banks who email me with 'security advice preccaution' emails and seem to think I enjoy their business is downright ridiculous. I'm surprised the Inland Revenue isn't investigating me with all these accounts I have at TSB, HSBC, Barclays, Nationwide, etc. etc. It must be all those Yahoo online lotteries I keep winning - I've won so much money over the last year I don't know what to do with it and have it stashed away in so many bank accounts I've forgotten where I put it in the first place !!!

Yes many times. I filled in my details and all the money seems to have gone out of my account

I've had emails like this from (cough) "Barclays"...which is pretty good, when you consider I've never had an account with them....if anybody falls for this, as far as I'm concerned, they deserve to lose their money....

I've gotten similar emails from 'banks' I've never ever heard of. Of course it's a scam, most probably from Nigeria.
