The stuff on the T.V on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day are better than actual Christmas Day? Like today Scrooge the original is going to be on C4, and so is Shrek which the kids like watching. I think the only good things on TV Christmas Day are the soaps! But half of them are depressing anyway!

Yeah i suppose the tv planning people think everyone will be too busy to watch tv on christmas day! The soaps are so depressing it makes me feel better about my life!!

Because nobody is really watching on Christmas Day. People are busy opening gifts, spending time with family, eating. It's kind of pathetic to be sitting in front of the tv when you've got a house full of presents and family talking to you ... maybe just the presents.

Yes, your absolutely right, they always tend to put alot of soap and drama on christmas day but on christmas eve and boxing day most of the T.V channels put on classic christmas films and like you said, they always show the shrek films. Yeah, when you have finished the cooking, serving up the food, tidying up after the kids, helping the kids with their new presents you feel very tired and want to sit down with all your family and watch a nice movie, but there is nothing of my choice! We usually just put a dvd in.

Y watch TV on Xmas day!!!??? thats insane, spend it with your family open presents, enjoy them, enjoy the company of family. all help cook dinner, eat dinner, crash out at 9pm cos u woke up at 3am that morning to get presents.
