Is receding. Is that normal for a 19yr old male? Not worried or concerned or anything, just wondering if its normal or not?

Check the males on both sides of the family. Someone else would have had the same experience. It is normal for your family.

It probably is about the time when guys start having issues with receding hair. One of my cousins got this around the time between 19-22 years old too! They say that receding hair-line comes from your mom's side of the family. I'm sure the father's side does too though. Some things like receding hair lines run in families.
Another thing I have noticed is that if you are "hairier" on your body, sometimes it is an indication of a higher level of Testosterone which cause something I think called DHT (?), which can cause your hair to fall out at the root. Hope this helps! Just think, you've probably got more Testosterone than the average guy, which you can brag about to you friends!

Yes this actually do happens in early ages due to genetic backgrounds if it is due to that than there chances of the receding hair line to become more visible but dont worry about it because it wont make much difference or become quite thinner you can stop it by buying some products for hair loss whatever is available locally at your place such as you can use somethin which contains 5% Minoxidil because this helps for early receding hair lines and thinning hair.

By Personal experience, I would say this is due to hormonal changes or genes. If you father and grandfather are not bald then its probably hormonal. So have a balanced diet and Sexual thinking makes receding hair.

i am a 38 yeas old man i start i start to gettaht at 18 years old
now i have a got the front are only with not so heavy hair

i am 44 years old and my hairline started receding when i was only about 18-19 years old. i am now almost completly bald and love it. keep my hair very short. god only made so many perfect heads, the rest he covered with hair.
