my mother had stopped my medical card .
right around the time i was supposed to get it again .
she didnt tell me till around that time .
and she wont pay for it, and i cant afford it right now .

NO with anything you have to follow the instructions to the letter or it does not work
So you need to force your mum to change her mind as your future is at risk... I mean really force... and point out you will have sex with or withtou out it as it depends on the heat of the moment... and as your mother is putting you at risk and endangering you then you can be otherised to hurt her or sell stuff from the house.
Persoanlly her backing down and being responsible is better...
or try a planned pregnancy centre where you may get it for free or other sexaul health centre
this is tantamount to her stopping asthma inhailers.

well you can, but you risk getting pregnant if you have sex.
my friend missed her date only by two weeks...and in between that time ...she had sex and became pregnant. she didnt know until after she recieved her depo shot again, and she miscarried. ...
so.....if you miss a month, your birth control would ware off, if thats what ur asking :)
