Is there such thing as being just 'american;' or are all americans originaly form different countries

all except the indians and no one is for sure where they came from!!!!

All white Americans have blood that originates from Europe and all black and Caribbean Americans have blood that originates from Africa, the only true Americans are the Native Americans (used to be called Red Indians) and South American Natives.

If you were born in America, you are American. I was born in Africa, so I'm African (even though I'm white and speak Afrikaans). Whether your ancestors come from Europe, Africa, or Mars, the point is, *you* were born in America, and therefore *you* are just American.

The Native Amerians are the real Americans,not us white people who were born here.

The Americans who were there before the Europeans arrived had been there about 12,000 years or so so I think you could safely call them "just" Americans.

Yes it is a continent... But if you are talking about the U.S. My father was born here and he is a true country man. My mother came "Legally" from S. America and now she is a citizen and a true patriot.
