Evolution

I don't think evolution is the opposite to the belief in God . evolution is as the word suggests evolving of a specie according to series the adaptations enforced by the environment which makes it gradually a different specie .

Personally i think there is more to it than just environmental adaptations . for example : the shrimps we eat have always been the same as they are now for 3.5 billion years which is a very long time for one specie . how the first pairs came to exist from every speci . the sudden presence of the species is exactly why not a lot of people believe in evolution .

I personally think that evolution-science is more concrete. Many may not like my answer but I think the chick before the egg. I am a believer in God and Christ. But I still think that scientifically we have to evolve from somewhere. Either from a microscopic bacteria to a fish or a monkey, over thousand of years, we have to be evolves into what we are today. If one believe in God, that is good for the faith at heart. But that is just that...believing and having faith. Can't both be correct.

I was going to answer what Sunny White said about evolution giving more credit to God, so I'll just elaborate. God created all things knowing what the outcome would be before anything had ever happened. His knowledge in never-ending. He created beings so that they can evlove into other beings. But this too is His creation. We, with our limited minds and our closed minded view of the Bible and other religions, can never fully comprehend how great God is and how all encompassing His knowledge is. Evolution is a creation of God.

I most definitely believe in God as well as evolution.

both. I see no reason why they both can't be correct. Bible says God made everything over 6 days. we humans define a day as the 24 hours it takes our rock to turn a circle.

Maybe a day for God is the time it takes our Universe to turn a circle. What man feels fit to define God (God the Merciful, the Compassionate)?

I don't think the devil planted dinosaur bones around the world to temp man.
