Are you trying to preserve your fishes? Is it safe?
That means I don't know. But I'll try to search it here.

Formalin is 37% formaldehyde, and is used in a 2 drop per gallon dose (for either fresh or saltwater). Since yours is slightly more concentrated, just add fewer drops. It's most effective if you combine this with malachite green, in which case use the formaldehyde at 1 drop per gallon. You can also use it in a 20 drop per gallon dose as a "dip" for the infected fish, but netting them, and exposing them to the higher amount puts additional stress on them.

You can also treat this using salt (which isn't a carcinogen as the other medications mentioned are).

Before adding either treatment, do a good vacuuming of the gravel to remove any free-swimming parasites.

You should also raise your water temperature (preferably to 86oF if your fish can tolerate this) to speed up the lifecycle so the parasites drop off the fish, where they aren't affected by the medications, and die faster.

If you have tetras, catfish, or scaleless cats, start with only 1/4 of the regular dose and build to the full dose slowly. These fish are sensitive to all these treatments. For any but salt, you should remove the carbon from the filter. And continue to treat for 3-5 days after you no longer see spots on the fish - if you stop too soon, parasites in the water that haven't been killed can reinfect your fish - expect treatment to take 10-14 days.

you need a 36% solution for marine ich and a 3% for freshwater. You shouldnt use it with any sclaleless fish and should only be be used in a quarantine tank. I would be careful if you wanted to attempt this. It might be easier to get a designed medication because formaldehyde is toxic and too much can harm your fish.

Call your local Fish Mortician because you'll kill them all if you have to ask a question like this ... call him before the fact he knows the dilution ratio for fish as well as corpses !!!
