first of all, please allow me to distinguish between authentic "Christmas hyms", such as "Joy to the World", "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing", and other religious music that truly reflects the real meaning of the season.
all that other crap is just "seasonal/winter" music, and has nothing to do with Christmas at all. I'm sick of that stuff before it even starts.

I do like the Holiday carols that are sung in church (O Holy Night, O Christmas Tree, Silent Night, Joy to the World, etc.) but the commercialized ones especially "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" can be tossed into the recycle bin.
