You are NOT a loser. Your dogs are big company and sometimes they are better than some people I know. We see our kids and grandkids for Christmas. New Years we have always stayed home, had munchies and watched movies. Most times we don't make it till midnight. You are never alone. I will most likely be on Yahoo and so will other people.

I am home alone but only for Christmas Eve on this side of the world. Tomorrow is Christmas day and I will get together with my friends and have some red wine.

Assalamu Alaikum Brother purely come down and take some deep breaths. Islam has alot of policies yet as quickly as uve completed it for 13yrs it turns into 2nd nature. All it takes is time. Youll get used to it. in no way forget Allah(swt) is maximum merciful.

There will be others that are alone...
But that doesn't make you a loser...
Every day is a holiday when you're a bachelor or bachelorette...
No biggie...you're cool...just enjoy the solitude while you can...and count your blessings...some people don't even HAVE a home to sit in...

I will have family with me & I will still be alone! Except for my dogs and God!

I'll be alone without family or any close friends nearby. I could travel back to my home state to visit people but I never think it's worth it.
