i've been married for over a yr and i can say that i'm happy my husband is great and i love him he's nice and i love his fam... i love the way that he treats me with respect and gentleness... but i can't seen to forget my x i've tried to do that but i doesn't work i could go on without a wk then puff i remember him either a song and little phrase that i hear it reminds me of him....but i love my husband why can't i forget my x..and this just happens when i'm with myself when no one is around out of the no where i find myself thinking what's he doing or if he's ok...but when i'm with my husband my mind doesn't even cross by him why is that???????please help me

I go through it to, I live with it. It does not bother me. Its just memories, we all have them. Some good, some bad. I gave my wife my word at our civil marriage : she's it. The one thing I never break is my word. Never have, never will.

It is not uncommon for people to think about their exs even when they are happy with the present situation. Everyone does it sometimes. I love my bf, but the other night I had a dream about a guy I loved dearly years ago. I don't know why I even dreamed about him, other than I ran into him one day when my bf and I were out together.

Quite a jeopardy, u surely love ur x, thats why u cant forget him. However I am not sure of you condescend to marry mr Right- who is nice to you. I assume ur married soon after x's departure. Solution to your problem, time. Or- you may want to see x, things change over a period, u may find ur Mr Right better of than x. This is tricky though, what if you still like him? Actually, there is a lot of ambiguity in ur case.... so 4m what we all see....i say let time take care of it...u'll 4get him!
