family. We spent $20-35 on each kid. There was only one person to buy for in my family and he made me feel guilty for wanting to spend $50. I was wrapping them and I ran out of tape. He went out to get the tape and brought back double-sided (I guess he wasn't paying attention) tape. I said, "Oh, no! This is double-sided. Come look. What should I do?" He says I had a "bad tone" to my voice when I said it. So, we ended up in an arguement. I don't want to go see his family anyway. We agreed to only buy gifts for the kids and he bought his mother's bf a $50 lamp (???). He says he owes his man because 5 years ago, he helped him with his roof after a bad storm and he's better to him than his own dad. His dad IS pretty sorry, but I don't think you have to "owe" someone for forever and the guy is shady. Anyway, I don't want to go to his family's house for Christmas, so I told him to go alone. It is a long drive. Should I go even though I said I'm not?
