There is no way that it is Mika Hakkinen. The Stigs posture is very different from Mika. Mika kind of had a slight hunch over. Also there have been a couple of times when the Stig has spoken and well the Stig can speak. Mika could barely say a comprehensible word. But he drove damn well!!!

Judging by the lap times on Top Gear in the econo car. It is a possibility that he might be Nigel Mansell?

The Stig is Perry McCarthy. Ex F1 driver for about 3 Gp's.

Possible? Yes. At this point a lot of people can be the Stig. But well I don't think so, not really. Mika's physique looks a bit too big to fit into the Stig's...

During the review of Jenson Button's lap, Clarkson commented that he, as did most of the other F1 drivers, took very different racing lines from the Stig's. Button commented that "...obviously, the Stig isn't a Formula One Driver then." to which Clarkson replied with "Might be"

no dont think so...th stig is smaller than mika plus i dont thin tht is something he wud do

no - mika lives in finland he's not going to come over to england every week to do a poxy top gear episode. i reckon it's damon hill.
