I started my period in march 2005 when i was 12, my periods started very heavy for the first 7 months with very bad cramps and pains in my boobs. After that i had regular medium flow periods with cramps but not as bad and my boobs weren't as soar. this month my period is overly heavy, im going through a pad an hour and ive got really bad cramps and painful boobs!! why have they gone from one extreme to the other???????

There isn't anything wrong with you, it's your genetic make-up that determines your cycle which affects your hormones.
I would have a chat with your female relatives (mom, sister or aunt) & see what normal is for your family. Ever woman's body is different including yours. It wouldn't hurt to have your mom make an apt. with your doc. & get checked-out. :)

I'm no professor on this subject, but if you need an answer it is because of hormonal imbalance. As your body is growing and adjusting the hormone levels spike at different times which leads to heavier flows. When your body has adjusted for awhile then the flows even out. Once you reach womanhood your hormonal levels are pretty much balanced and you have "regular" flows that are consistent and faithful for years. Hope this helps.
