Actually, the ideal time to buy shoes is at the end of the day, when your feet are the most swollen. Since your feet will expand throughout the day, you want to purchase shoes that will accommodate your feet at their largest, otherwise you may end up with very uncomfortable and tight fitting shoes.

I would have expected that to be the other way around. Because swollen feet is often caused by the circulation system not being able to pump all the fluid effectively back up towards the heart so it slowly builds up in the tissues around the ankles and feet. Bingo you have puffy swollen feet and your shoe size has changed

No, the saying is its better to buy shoes in the afternoon for a correct fit, because your feet swell up to half a size during the day. So shoes that are bought in the morning may pinch by the afternoon. For a better fit, buy later in the day.

yes as the day passes and we are on our feet they tend to swell and spread the end of the day buy will give you a fit that will make your feet happy and it is true that happy feet make a happy body.remember your feet will take you places if you take care of em

Never heard of that, but if the weather's hot, your feet are most likely to swell more too.
