Hello!
Hoping someone can help me. My screen washers won't work. The pump sounds as though it is working, the electronic noise is still going. All I'm getting is bubbles at the nossles. The tank is full so it's not cause I've run out! I've tried piercing the holes to see if it's blocked, but to no avail. My MOT is on Thursday, so this is not a good time for this to happen.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Just to clarify, rear washer wiper is not needed on an MOT
You will not get bubbles with frozen pipes
Two possibilities
1. there is a leak in the pipe.usual suspects are the join to the pump its self or the splitter to the two washer jets. If you put the car on a dry bit of road and try them for 3 seconds look under the car for any drips if none there's no leaks.
2. The filter is blocked. Usually to strong a mixture. You need to remove the pump not a big job (they just pull out) just getting to it on some cars can be. and mind all the water when it comes out. The rubber grommet around the pump inlet needs to come out too. That should be the filter. take it to warm tap and wash it until its clean, also rinse out the bottle with a gallon of clean water hot or cold does not matter. and refit it all. Add a small cup full of washer fluid and fill with cold water.

First thing to try is opening the bonnet, look for the windscreen washer pipes that are connected to the sprays. Pull the pipes of the sprays and then try the washers again, if a thick stream of water comes out of the end of the pipe then you know there is a blockage in the spray heads. If this is the case try to remove the spray heads and soak them in hot water to clear them out.
If there is not a thick stream of water coming out of the pipe, then there are two potential reasons.
First the pipes between the washer pump has become trapped or the pump is self is on the way out.
Replacement pumps can be purchased from Halfords for about £20.00
Ja.

You sure that the pipes are not frozen cause its been cold enough. One other thing you could do is remove one to the tubes and blow down it hard just in case there is a but of junk in the pump stopping the water from coming out. My car failed once because the Washer Bottle was empty.
As a further thought why do people that have no idea answer like the answer from Chaz Vagas

Hi there you have probably run the water a bit low in the tank and so picked up some crap in the hoses going to the jets, disconnect the hoses give them a blow through and check that they are clear of any blockages, now your nozzles/jets might if you are lucky just clip onto the bonnet if they do unclip and give a good clean out or if they dont give the best clear out you can with a piece of thick wire.

Obviously it has to be a blockage of some sort, I was going to suggest clearing the nozzles with a needle, but you've already done that, but bubbles at the nozzles would suggest nozzle blockage rather than the tubing itself, give it a really good poke, can't really suggest anything else.

Empty your washer bottle and put clean hot water in it, it may need to do it a couple of times and see if the water goes through, it builds up a film but by just putting clean hot water through it, it will break it down (not boiling hot water), try it, it works

It will probably been frozen and a pipe blown off when defrosted as in anything not protected. There could be 100 reasons depends on what type of vehicle be more specific
