Hopefully you've given both a shot, but I'm going up to the snow in a couple of days, and I need to decide if I'll learn snowboarding, or stick to skiing...I don't know if they're anything alike, but I enjoyed surfing, so is snowboarding similar? Thanks for your input!

I enjoy both; and I too began as a skier. I would suggest you go for it and give snowboarding a shot. If you have been thinking about snowboarding anyway you owe it to yourself. After that, you can make a better judgement based on your own, personal experience.

It's always good to learn another sport!! Ive never been snowboarding before, but im sure it's just as fun as skiing

If you have the chance to try snowboarding try it!!! Even if you dont like it you can always go back to skiing... I love snowboarding and i hope you will too...

Snowboarding is much cooler. You can relate it as surfing the snow hills or skating snow hills either way it is so much cooler than skiing in my opinion.

If you enjoyed surfing then you would enjoy snowboarding. It is the only way to really enjoy the other white meat.

snowboarding, its cooler and more fun. its like skateboarding but better and its easier to do tricks, its easier to grind on metals poles without falling.
