i am on b/c for painful periods just switched from microgynon to cliest and have been now taking the new ones for 2 weeks.
for 1 week i have been bleeding but my gynecologist said spotting for the first month was normal.
last night, down below was very itchy, and the same tonight, i went to the loo and when afterwards it felt as if i still had loo paper stuck there, so i looked in a mirror and it looks like my vagina has swollen.
two red lumps have appeared either side of the "hole" it does not itch but i can feel it.
what is this? the swelling has gone down a bit.
i am still a virgin, my doctor refered me to the gyne cos he believed i might have endometriosis, i get blood clots.
do you know what is wrong with me? if so what could i use to make it go? i cant go to the doctors today as i am babysitting and not for the next few days as it is christmas,
thanks

Is there a discharge?
Are you sure it is not thrush.
Go to a pharmacy and see if you can buy something over the counter to get youy through Christmas.
I hope you feel better soon.

I dont think its edometriosis.. thats where the lining of the uterous gets too thick and sometimes grows outside the uterous.. it makes for heavy painful monthly periods...
Id say you might just have a slight yeast infection or rash.. sometimes when you change perscriptions, it changes the PH balance in your vaginal area making it more suspectible to yeast flairups.. nothing wrong, I mean, doesnt mean you are extremely ill or are unclean or whatnot.. just might need some cream or something to clear it up.. and it might just go on its own... just dont go self medicating yourself.. make sure you clean/wash twice a day, blot dry (dont allow moisture to lurk down there).. wear a panti liner if you prefer and as soon as your able, go to the doctor..

It sounds like you could have a yeast infection going on but the only way to find out for sure is to see a doctor for further evaluation. If the itching makes you very uncomfortable you can go to a walk-in clinic to have them check it out, some of them are going to be open during the holiday.

Even though it is Christmas walk into the emergency room and ask if anyone there wants to look at your puzzy. I guarantee you will get taken care of real quick
